Enjoy our quiet and relaxing harbour village. We have beaches and benches and berms and beauty! Sailing and golfing, shopping, dining and drinking. Live summer theater and historical train rides right in the middle of the village for your walking pleasure.
Our Kettle Creek Harbour has influenced the village with a marine setting unlike any on the north shore of Lake Erie. We have a large commercial fishing fleet docking their diesels daily right in the middle of town. This fleet sells fish to markets all over the world, and also shows up on every single menu in the village. Five marinas provide us with beautiful vistas of coloured sails and luxury yachts on our blue horizon.
Whether it is the sounds of the surf or the sights of the sea, Port Stanley is the place to be. We have not one but two of Ontario’s finest Inns, plus cottage rentals and B&B’s to entice you to stay a little while and leave the car 'parked' for the weekend. Take the train or walk a historical route or beachcomb in the early hours on one of our two beaches. The artists live here, come see why. Our shopping is number one with service and attention to detail from owner operated independent retailers. Enjoy old fashioned service with popular fashions.
